We want to ensure your stay at Little Coastal Cottage is a safe and enjoyable one. To make your arrival easy as possible, below is a summary of the pre-arrival, check-in and check-out process. You'll receive an email the morning of your arrival day on more detailed check-in instructions, and another on your departure day on check-out.

Let me be the first to welcome you to your new home away from home, the Little Coastal Cottage.
You have many options when selecting a place to stay, and I am so grateful you decided on our quaint cottage for your stay, your visit, your vacation.
It's our goal to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. On this page, you'll find helpful information to prepare you for your arrival, as well as some links to the House Rules, and what to expect for your check-out. Don't worry, though, you'll receive reminders as we get closer to both your check-in and check-out dates.
In the meantime, get acquainted with your new space and by all means, make yourself at home. If you ever run into any issues, questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us and we'll make sure to respond as quickly as possible.

Rideshare & Taxi Services:
Pensacola International Airport (PNS) allows UBER and Lyft services directly from the departure gate. Average cost is $10 to the property from the airport. Be mindful that several taxi services require a $20 minimum from the Airport regardless of distance to final destination.
Micro-Mobility:
Pensacola recently adopted micro-mobility as a viable transportation option. Scooter/bikes operated by Veo, can be found throughout Pensacola.
Public Transportation:
Little Coastal Cottage is only two short blocks away from the nearest public bus stop. Rides
Driving Directions:
If driving, use the following for directions to the property.
- From Pensacola International Airport
- From Interstate 10
- From Beaches
From Pensacola Airport (11 mins)
- Exit the airport toward the main road, N. 12th Ave.
- Head South by turning left onto N. 12th Avenue.
- Follow N 12th Ave. for approximate 5 miles.
- Take left onto I-110 onramp.
- Merge onto I-110 and stay in right lane.
- Take the very next exit #3 and turn right onto Maxwell Dr.
Check-In Time:
After 12:00 PM on day of arrival (unless otherwise stated).
Check-Out Time:
Before 10:00 AM day of departure (unless otherwise stated).
Property Access:
The property features keyless entry. You will be added to the property security the day of arrival.
Weather & Temperatures:
Pensacola features nearly 230 days of sunshine with an occasional cloudy or rainy day. Expect temperatures to be in the low to mid 90s during summer months, and as low as 30 degrees in the winter. See average monthly temperatures for Pensacola.
Hurricane Season:
Florida and the Gulf Coast is not immune to hurricanes and while not guaranteed, the risk of a direct-hit to Pensacola by hurricane is possible. Hurricane season runs annually from June 1 to November 30. If your trip is affected by a hurricane, we'll work with you to ensure your safety. Where to Park:
The property features a shared public access driveway that runs through the middle of the block. As such, you can access the property from both D and C Streets. Please do not park on or block this driveway as other residents on the block use this to access their homes.
For parking, pull into the covered carport behind the property from this public access driveway. The carport can fit two cars. To do this, make sure to pull up as close to the garage as possible.
Where NOT to Park:
The empty property behind the carport is private property and is owned by a neighbor. Please avoid parking in this lot.
Accessing the Property:
Guests will access the home from the back entrance near the carport. The days leading up to your stay, you will receive an invitation to the keyless entry system. You may also use the keypad to unlock and lock the property. Make sure to pull tightly on the door when locking/unlocking the door to avoid the latch getting stuck.
Internet/W-Fi:
Signs are posted on the kitchen refrigerator for access to the internet.

If you experience a temporary lapse in service, you can reset both the modem (located inside TV cabinet) and router (located on top of the TV Cabinet behind TV), by unplugging the power source to both, waiting approximately 1-2 minutes, then replugging them back in (modem first). After several minutes, the internet should be restored. If you continue to experience problems, please contact us.
Towels & Linens:
Towels are stored in the bathroom closet. Please use the black towels for make-up removal. Extra bedsheets, linens and pillows can be found in the bedroom closets.
TV & Streaming Services:
We offer free streaming services for your stay. To access, turn on the TV, select Input and select the streaming service of your choice. When prompted, select "Little Coastal Cottage" from the user menu. If you choose to, you are welcome to log out of these services and login with your own personal account.
Beach & Watercraft:
Your visit entitles you to access to certain outdoor items found on-property. In the side yard are two kayaks and paddles. You can check out various kayaking spots here. Additionally, a beach cabana and cooler can be found in the mudroom.
Thermostat:
The thermostat is found in the main living room and is automatically set to heat the house when temperatures fall below 65, and to cool the house when temperatures fall above 78. Feel free to change these settings by rotating the dial to your desired temperature.
Trash Removal:
Receptacles are found throughout the house. Your stay includes street-side pick-up service using the receptacles near the back driveway. Both trash and recycling is collected early Thursday morning. It's recommended you place the bins on the road Wednesday evening.
Laundry:
A washer and dryer are available for guests in the mudroom with detergent provided in the glass jars. The heater is very efficient and can usefully fully dry a load of clothing on the Low/Timed setting i about 30 minutes.
Pet Relief Area:
The property features a large front yard and a fenced-in side courtyard. Your pet may use the front and side yards for relief. We Because the yard is so small, we strongly encourage guests to pick up their pet's waste when possible. Pet waste bags are provided in the mudroom. Please avoid having your pet relieve itself in the driveway, and on other residents' properties (including the empty lot behind the driveway).
Nest Doorbell:
A nest doorbell/camera is installed on the front door. Guests with extended stay reservations will be invited to the nest software to receive alerts.

Requests can be made by using the contact information found below, or you can make requests in the Little Coastal Cottage app.
